Maintenance Engineer
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: based on experience and qualifications
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team and play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. If you enjoy solving problems, take pride in well-maintained equipment, and want to work with a supportive team that values your expertise, this could be the perfect next step.
In this role, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of machinery and building systems. You will work closely with production and facilities teams to minimise downtime, improve reliability, and help drive continuous improvement across the site.
What you will be doing
• Completing routine preventative maintenance
• Responding to breakdowns and diagnosing faults
• Carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs
• Supporting improvement projects and equipment upgrades
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
What we are looking for
• Experience in a maintenance or engineering role
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• A proactive approach and good problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant qualifications or apprenticeship beneficial

All our vehicles operate from our 2 bases in Chelmsford, where we operate a modern fleet of vehicles ranging from vans to 18t Lorries.
