PM Loading Assistant
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: £12.54 per hour, plus a company bonus scheme

We are seeking a reliable PM Loading Assistant to support
afternoon and evening loading operations within a busy logistics environment.
The role involves assisting with the safe and efficient loading and unloading
of goods, ensuring vehicles are prepared correctly and on schedule in line with
company procedures and health and safety requirements.

We operate seven days a week, so some weekend work will be required.

What you will be doing

Assisting with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of goods
Ensuring loads are positioned and secured in line with transport requirements
Following all health and safety procedures, including manual handling guidance
Using equipment and PPE correctly as provided
Handling goods carefully to prevent damage or loss
Working as part of a team to meet operational deadlines
Keeping the loading area clean, organised and safe
Reporting any damaged goods, shortages or safety concerns promptly

What we are looking for

Ability to carry out manual handling duties safely
Willingness to work PM and overnight shift patterns
Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions accurately
Physically fit for the demands of the role
Right to work in the UK

Desirable but not essential:

Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or loading role

Manual handling or health and safety training

Working hours

4 on 4 off shift pattern
6:00pm to 6:00am
Full-time position
Working hours arranged in line with Working Time Regulations

This role is not classified as night work unless shifts extend into defined night working hours.

Health and safety

All duties must be carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation and company procedures. Full training and PPE will be provided where required.
