Transport Manager

We are looking to recruit for a Transport Manager who is a highly organised, confident individual in this stand alone role within a very busy environment covering a 24/7 operation.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the day to day transport management. The individual must ensure that all legislative requirements are met and adhered to at all times.

CPC and driver qualifications are essential as the role will be the focal point for all transport related queries, including co-ordination of deliveries and management and development of drivers. You will be effective and successful in optimising fleet use, cost effective solutions and Human resources commitments.
As a Transport Supervisor you will be required to lead by example, follow legal requirements, motivate and manage your large team of drivers at all times whilst ensuring we deliver a professional, competitive service to all of our customers.
Full valid 2 HGV clean driving license (no more than 6 points) plus CPC and DIGI Card as well as proof of right to work in the UK required.

Hours required would be 5 days in seven will include weekend working depending on the needs of the business for this 24/7 operation .

Salary
£45k depending on experience.

Transport Supervisor / Loader

Service Office Manager



Purpose of the job
• To provide management support to the service office.
• To supervise the team in the office to maintain smooth running operations.
• To control and plan holidays.
• To work with other departments to maintain excellent customer service.
• Monitor performance of the team.
• Training of new staff.
• Workload planning.
• Good cooperation between departments.

The ideal candidate will be organised, have excellent time keeping and attendance skills and have a positive approach in all areas of your work.

Requirements
• Previous manager experience
• Customer service knowledge / background.
• Team building skill.
• HR process experience e.g. back to work interviews, performance meetings, probation reviews and disciplinary.

Candidate must be flexible with regard to working hours as some Saturday cover will be required.
It will be a hands on position with good man management skills .

Service Office Administrator

We are looking to recruit a full time person to provide additional support to the service office, reporting to the service office supervisor.

The ideal candidate will be organised, have excellent time keeping and attendance skills and have a positive approach in all areas of your work. Previous experience as below would be preferred but not essential (full training will be provided)

• Answering Telephone / Switchboard
The ideal candidate must be flexible with regard to working hours as some Saturday cover will be required.

Production Operative

Class 2 Drivers

Full time LGV Class 2 drivers are required for a seven day a week operation.
The work involves various shifts, both day and night and will include weekends.
