HGV Class 2 Driver - Category C

County Linen is a medium sized family run business, operating out of Chelmsford and serving London and Home Counties.
We are currently looking for drivers to join our team, we have a modern fleet of vehicles ranging from 12t to 18t.
You will be expected to load and unload the vehicle. You will be assigned ONE route for which you we be responsible, but WILL be required to cover other routes in the event of holidays and absences.
Drivers with Larger routes that are considered labour intensive will be provided with a route assistant.
For insurance reasons applicants must be twenty five and over, with a maximum of 6 Penalty points.
Applicants must have a current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and Digital Tachograph.
As an employee of County you will receive the following benefits:
• In house funded CPC training.
• Auto enrolment into your pension scheme.
• 29 day holiday per year (include bank holidays) you are expected to work bank holidays unless taken as leave.
• PPE and uniform provided for both summer and winter.

The Job

Shifts are between 8 and 12 hours long.
You will be employed on a 40 hour contract, O/T normally available.
You will be expected to work some weekends.
Working a 5 days on 2 days off rota.
AM Routes
£12.25 per hour and £13.60 at weekends.
Start time between 4am and 7am route dependant.
Most route are outside London in the Home Counties.
PM Routes
£13.50 per hour and £14.90 at weekends.
Start time between 3pm and 5pm route dependant.
London routes.

7.5 T Multi drop Delivery Heavy Van Driver

Purpose of the job

This is a physically demanding role, involving loading and unloading of deliveries to our customers around South East Anglia and London.
Previous experience in multi drop is preferred, strong communication and customer service skills and a smart appearance is essential when interfacing with customers.

• Have a valid driving licence
• DQC would be advantageous
• £10 / hour from 2amto 6am start
• Full- time job
• Hours are approximately 8-12 hours per shift
• Will include one Saturday per month no Sundays
• About 45 hours per week
• CPC Card and DIGITAL Card
